What this site collects, and why.
Last updated 15 August 2026
SILICA is a one-person studio in Tel Aviv. This site is small and so is this notice: it says what is collected, who processes it, and how to have it removed. Nothing here is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone beyond the services named below.
- When you write to us
- The enquiry form takes a name, an email address, and optionally a company, a phone number, a budget band and a description of the work. Those details are emailed straight to the studio through Resend, our mail provider, and are used to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation. They are not added to a mailing list and you will not receive marketing.
- Analytics
- The site runs Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies in your browser and Google receives your IP address, which it uses to approximate your location. This is the only third-party tracking on the site: no advertising pixels, no remarketing tags, no session recording. Browser-level blocking, or Google's own opt-out add-on, stops it entirely and the site works exactly as well without it.
- Cookies
- Two kinds. A cookie named silica-locale remembers whether you chose English or Hebrew. It holds one word, only this site reads it, and without it the language resets every visit. Google Analytics sets the rest, described above. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to here beyond analytics, which your browser can refuse.
- Hosting and performance
- The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs, and uses Vercel Speed Insights to measure real page-load timings. Those measurements are aggregated performance data, not profiles of individuals.
- Your data, your call
- Ask and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, including the whole thread of an enquiry. There is no form for this. It takes as long as it takes us to read the message. Write to the address below.
